Well it was a limited run so not that surprising

Hope everyone who wanted one got one

Jacob did reiterate on twitter that is was a limited run. If someone passed thinking it was going to be subject to the same market conditions as mass produced 3090ti's and they could get one much cheaper they now get to kick themselves in the keister and wait for eBay/StockX to kick in.
 
I made that mistake before with the KPE 1080ti and ended up having to tuck tail and get one off of eBay.

If I'd known it was a limited run (didn't see anything relating to that), I would've followed suit. Stuck with one that I'm scared to open now...

That's because cards have never been this insanely overpriced before.

That would be me. When the 4090 comes out and the 4090 ti. I will buy those also. At least with the 3090ti KPE I would have a good card for 6 months and not have to deal with riddled issues with new 40 series drivers and game compatibility. It will take a couple of months once released before drivers become stable and work with all the bells and whistles.

Yup. Shows you how much markup is on them.

Mine is still sitting somewhere via UPS.  I had the same 3d verification issues that many had and wasn't able to purchase when my invite came thru.  Luckily, I was able to get the 3d verification working, and was able to purchase the card while it was available on the EVGA website.
