I have a Great Rtx3090 Kingpin and 2 1600 watt EVGA  PSU don't need a 3rd. Look for cards stand alone to before sale for not much more then Rtx 3090 Kingpin.

What 3090 KPE failures? I thought all the EVGA 3090 failures were with the FTW3-based cards?

My first 3090 KPE died within 2 days, no significant overclocking, just running the card.  Earlier this year.

I think I'm going to pass.  I'm still on a 9900K and didn't pull the trigger on a 12700K/Z690 (ddr4) combo when they were like $500 a couple months ago.  At this point I'll wait.

May I ask what was the reason it died? Did EVGA provide a reason or do you have an idea as to why?
I thought Kingpins weren't susceptible to the transient power spike issues encountered on other 3090s, or are they?

IMHO it was a bad card from the start, the replacement was NIB and has been fine other than being a pedestrian OC'er.

After hawing and hemming for awhile I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my notification. I'm probably one of the few that can actually use the PSU seeing as I only have a 1000w Seasonic and 850w EVGA and neither has enough PCIe connectors for dual connects.
