Thank you for the information. Hopefully that is the case, but I think EVGA is taking a risk waiting so long. People may now pass for the 40 series.

I'd be thinking more like will anyone get a 4000 series card anytime soon. And what card would surpass this one in speed? 4090?? 4090ti?? Doubt it will be anything less then a 4090.

Only reason why I'm not trying to figure out how to pay for one is all because of the 0 water block for it.

I'd say it would be smarter to grab a 3090ti cause one can get a block for it.

But if ya want to grab the 3090ti kinpin with the air cooler.. would the cooler be warrantied for the whole 3 years?. If one got the 10 year warranty would that Also include the aio cooler?

Good question, I'd assume the AIO would be for the entire duration of the warranty.  Can't really run the card without it.  Standalone hybrid is only 1 year, so there a bit of a disconnect there.

The hybrid cards have full 3 year warranty on the coolers as well which is why I always recommend friends to wait for the hybrids instead of getting the kit.

Well then my thought of grabbing a 3090ti Kingpin is not a bad idea if one don't use a custom water cooling loop.

I had a 3090 ti in my looped Box for a couple weeks. I turned the fans on my bottom radiator to intake and blew straight into the 3090 ti air cooler and it worked fine . Just testing the 3090 ti cooler is a beast snd works remarkably well even fed with my slightly warmer air. Back on the KP HC until EK block shows up in a few weeks.

Is there any update on the 3090TI KP card yet? Vince posted the shroud of the card on his Instagram exactly 7 weeks ago today. On Monday, it will be exactly 7 weeks since he posted an image of a bunch of bare KP cards face down on a table as well. In both post, he talks about cards coming soon, yet no word or anything. With the announcement of the arrival of the 40 series cards, I figured these would have a rush on them at this point. I've sent an email to customer support a few times wanting to know if they had a date potentially, and I got exactly what I thought I would get, and that is that they do not have any information on it at this time. It is just getting later and later at this point and I am starting to wonder if we will ever see this card.

One thing I've learned with EVGA is they march to their own beat and rarely, if ever, subscribe to release time tables of other companies or the industry. They release their products when they're ready and this especially holds true for K|NGP|N cards and motherboards.

Plus by waiting they're weeding out a lot of potential buyers who are cancelling their queue positions because they either decided to wait for the 4000 series or picked up a 3090ti elsewhere since they are available in abundance everywhere and marked down no less (IE Gigabyte 3090ti is now $1539.99 brand new from Newegg).

Not an issue for EVGA, considering that Jacob tweeted limited quantities on release of the card.
