Now I'm thinking...can I mod an AIO to fit in an open loop....

(I mean I can rip the thing apart, but there goes the warranty.)

Der8auer did it with the 3090 Ti strix AIO (granted he's got a cnc machine and every tool imaginable at his disposal)

Yah, I saw that one.  Having a CNC would help.  Or having a derbauer.

Because of 40-series later in the fall?

3090Ti KP/Hybrid isn't DoA.. it basically hasn't arrived yet!

..but yeah, I'm assuming RedTeamGo is saying DoA because of rumored 4000 release. Imho, the release (assuming it happens this year), will be the vanilla 4080 and below, not a 4090 or 4080 Ti or 4080 Super, so 3090 Ti isn't exactly dead yet.

Now I'm picturing Monty Python's "I'm not dead yet" skit.. think it was from Holy Grail movie, or Life of Brian.

Thank you photoshop. lol.

I can't imagine they made a lot of them. I'm sure they know there's not going to be a lot of demand but I'd expect them to release some at least. I was thinking more along the lines of the 3090 KPE hydro copper numbers. I'm really surprised it's been this long. I'm starting to wonder if this will be a paper launch but even a paper launch product has a price tag.

Paper launch or not, the most recent PX1 was released for support of the 3090ti KPE…

morning boys.  lol at that GIF Nereus, that is definitely Holy Grail.

but yes, that is the gist of it.  there are a couple of things.  biggest is that, i have to admit, I am a bit worried that we are going to live to see the other shoe drop economically.  throwing another $5k on a PC vanity project this year is a bad allocation of resources.  i'm just tapping out personally.

That's true but there are a few pro overclockers who already have a couple 3090 Ti Kingpins which would help them use the OLED screen but I do think the release is likely really close and it's probably just shipping issues. They do come from Taiwan after all.
