Try again, but this time shutdown your pc and uplug the power from the wall for 5 minutes then replug the system back into the wall, and start it up. See if that helps.

In that case you should just use nvflash to try and update the card.

Note: You'll need to use the -6 command when flashing. You'll also need to have the slave vbios selected before flashing.
