Is it true evga told new egg to increase prices on some gpu's? Some huge price hikes just happened on new egg.

They're still coming up at EVGAs prices for me. Never mind, I looked before you changed it to b&h.

What about Europe 1080 Ftw preorder? Any ETA on them?

yeah sorry.. I meant B&H.. Not new egg. New egg increased prices on Asus strix cards though. -They're claiming Asus told them to.

EVGA sets the Suggested Retail Price, but the retailer can charge whatever they want. Although if they go too crazy, their stockability might go down.

Wrong. Retailer has to be in compatible price range of other sellers. Price is set by manufacturer (evga) according to supply and demand.

Asus are almost 1K now on ncixus.com. As if we didn't need another reason to not buy Asus....

niceee! i got lucky then because my Asus 1080 Strix OC from Newegg should be here tomorrow or Wednesday.
 
saved me $50 bucks lol.

This is getting ridiculous. Best to just wait until demand lowers and they have to dump the prices back to suggested.

i paid $679 for mine and will be returning my FE to Amazon. i'll be getting over $81 bucks back because Amazon charges tax and Newegg doesn't for me.
