Now I'm worried lol.. I just ordered the same card from EVGA website. Does anybody know if they'll update everything before shipping it out? Last thing I need is another faulty graphics card. 


If you happen to get a card w/o the thermal pads (and probably Vbios). Go ahead and order the card, register it, upload your receipt and RMA it..  That's what I did w/the 1070 FTW I ordered 26Nov and got a brand new one a few days later!  Started out like I was going to get a refurb, but after I emailed up the chain, I got my replacement, no charge!
Couldn't be happier with how it worked out!

Guess I can thank NVIDIA for saving me money at this point. Will wait for next generation....GTX 570s still going strong. Lifetime warranty. Same for EVGA x58 Classified motherboard from 2009?

I'm not going to go through all the posts here but why is there no cards in stock. I'm trying to buy a 1060 any time frame when they might be in? I have some EVGA bucks so I don't want to buy elsewhere.

Dear friends, EVGA has successfully completed my RMA process for a GTX 1070 FTW card in the quickest possible time and I'm a fully satisfied customer of EVGA. I don't think anyone can find a better and friendlier customer service with another company around the globe, and I believe that they deserve to be not only present, but dominant in their business sector, not just for the company and its employees, but also for us, which deserve such a level of support. Hi, I'm considering a cross-ship RMA for my 1080 FTW to resolve the thermal issues.  I bought my card from Newegg in July.  I've never done an RMA with EVGA before.  Can I expect a new card to be shipped to me or will it be a refurb?  If refurb, will it come in the same packaging as my original card?
 
Also if I do a cross-ship now will it be delayed due to the fact that the 1080 FTW is out of stock in the EVGA store?  Do you keep a separate stock for warranty/RMA shipments?




Hi I posted this question over a month ago and never got a reply.  Would really like to get a replacement for my 1080 FTW as I don't feel comfortable doing the thermal pad mod myself, but as the 1080's are constantly out of stock I'm wondering if cross-ship RMAs are taking a while to be fulfilled.


When asking RMA and warranty questions, it is best to ask in the warranty section, as it will get noticed quicker. I am going to move your post over there so it will be easier to find.
