I just joined and there are people chatting in it. Unless you think this forum thread is the discord chat?

I tried to go to discord today and it tells me my account is unclaimed...lots more issues...not connected to any servers???

probably one of the newer Discord updates got you; especially if you do not use that site often
 
Discord has become a PITA to log on to since some of the newer updates
 
also they have had several security issues, spreading malware in the past, so keep your anti-malware up to date & do not click links haphazardly
