Ok! Ok! You got you're 100 posts for Elite now.
That guy was spamming the whole place up with irrelevant responses.
EVGA should make a rule about posting on the forums for the 100 posts required for Elite status. Spamming shouldn't be allowed and should be punishable with a temp ban and not making it to elite status since its a privilege to be apart of the promotion.
Frankly they should make it physically impossible to post more than 20 messages a day. There simply is no reason to be posting more.
How about 20 messages a week. Majority of the spammers wouldn't be able to post after one day.
Went thru this a while back when the elite thing was first introduced. In the end, the mods just let the spammers pretty much do whatever they wanted, and long time members didn't get much say in the matter.
There was an actual 'random post anything' thread made to try to corral them into one thread instead of spamming up the rest of the forums (well I made one for that reason, but it was deleted and I got in trouble for it, then another one was made soon after.. go figure), but apparently it was deemed not politically correct to 'restrict' their 'freedom' as I recall it (translation: don't p off the noob spammers because they might spend money on EVGA products). Funny that.. yet long time members still had to walk on eggshells much of the time lest they offend some mod and get smacked on the hand for it, or even temporary banned.
Seems to be a lot less posting on the forums these days. I wonder why.
Btw, I purchased a sausage egg and cheese croissanwich, hash browns, and an orange juice from Burger King this morning.
