Howdy! I have actually been a forum member/lurker for a few years, yet this is my first official post! I tend to be an internet introvert, but I am trying to change that. The folks that I have dealt with in this community have been awesome, so I figure this is the place to start coming out of my shell. Especially since I am finally ready to try my hand at the art of overclocking. I am a total newb, tho. I have been reading a bunch of stuff, but I am still kinda confused/skittish. I am looking forward to interacting and learning with you all!

My first build was a P3 Slot 450mhz as well. Of course I started on much older stuff lol

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here! I am still pretty new to all of this new-age tech myself. I have just finished my new build this past weekend, finally getting rid of the old stock hp tower with my q6600 in it. I enjoy gaming, and being a part of great communities like this! I can't believe I haven't seen this area of the forums sooner, and apologize for not having stopped by before today. But either way I am honored to be here and very much look forward to enjoying this new generation of hardware with everyone here!

Figure I will say hi, been lurking for a while waiting to see when the z77 board I pre ordered is gonna get here lol, got an evga gtx 680 and a Intel 3770k waiting for it. Upgrading from my laptop which replaced my amd "quadfather" system that died after a year...  been struggling with wanting to use Asus or AMD since that system, the evga 8800gts that was in it is running strong in a friends system still. Still have an evga micro atx socket 939 board with a fx 57 cpu running strong and an evga 8600gts, was the first system I ever put together, currently just use it to play music and movies in my shop.
Mostly use my computers for gaming and using the internet lol, mostly strategy type games. Currently Shogun 2 is what I play for the most part, cannot wait to play it on a good computer.

Hi all, I hail from San Diego and am new to the forum. I got here because I just purchased a GTX 670. I was always an ATI card owner before this year. Not really a fan boy or anything just have always ended up with ATI cards. I ditched my R6850 for a GTX 460 and my R6950 for the GTX 670 SC because I found out that the ATI cards are not very good for folding. I am currently running two systems (See Sig) one is for everyday use and the other is dedicated to F@H. However, I do fold on both systems. Anyway, nice to be here. TTFN

Whats up fellas. I'm not "new" but I am diving into my first few posts as of this week. I've lurked for far too long and I think it's time to contribute to the community. I've also started to contribute to evga folding. With my new hardware recently, during down times when I'm not using it for work, I'll contribute in any way I can.
