Hiyoo!!  I've been registered for a while (I think) but I never have been on the forums or such until this year!  I own an EVGA 680i A2 and 2 EVGA 8800GTX (One died... haven't baked it yet) and just recently bought an EVGA 560 Ti Superclocked Crysis 2 Edition.  I love EVGA, have never had a problem cept for the overheated 8800GTX which was my fault since I didn't clean the dust out of it.  I beat the crap out of the 680i and its still going strong!

So my name is Steve, and I love building new computers... just wish I had more money so I could upgrade/build more than once every year or so.  I play Dek Hockey and like to party because I am 26 and single.  I also go by the alias of "Katzie" because thats how everyone on the net knows me.  I like to think I am the best Priest to ever play WoW even though I don't play anymore, and I like RPGs, namely the good non console port ones (I hate consoles, save for SNES).  My favorite Memory brand is Corsair and OCZ, I am an Intel fanboi, Seagate for HDDs, and an Antec/Coolermaster fanboi for cases/PSUs.  I think Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez is hot!!

Anyway, glad to be on the forums!

Hi All,

My name's David, I'm a brit working in Germany for a while.  I've been interested in PC's for heaven only knows how long, and finances permitting (and the 2 small kids draining them ;) ) I'll be upgrading somepoint next year and will be looking for some evga bits at that point.

Well I guess this is the place to put some things.

My name is James. I've been lurking around since about '09 when I got my first EVGA GTX260 Superclocked core 216 55nm board. Absolutely loved the way it was put together and ran the games I play. That was an upgrade from a BFG 7000 series card from way back before. Since then I've finally upgraded to a GTX560Ti DS Superclocked. EVGA has such great customer service and response. That is why I am sticking with them for cards.

As for myself I've been either building/using/networking/securing servers and systems for quite a long time now. Grew up with them back in the late 70's early 80's and have made a career ever since that time. I tend to work in the realm of securing sites and networks now. Had not much of a chance to build myself a really decent gaming machine but I did what I could with the finances at hand. Sometimes I even teach networking/security when the mood suits.

Glad to be a part of this community. There is quite a bit of knowledge to be gained here with the discussions at hand.

Welcome guys. Grats on finding the forum :D

IDK if I introduced myself here either. My name is James too. I'm an Aries and I like long walks on the beach. Some of my turn-ons are girls who overclock processors past 4GHz and gamer chicks. Turn offs include Apple products and Gangsta Rap.

Hello everyone.  I've been a member for a while (I guess?) Don't really like my user name but oh well it's the one I've got.  I've never really had a reason to post up before but have read a lot of threads and I love the amount and quality of the information and people that provide it!

Been a on-again-off-again PC gamer for many years.  I've built a couple of rigs in the past but they've never been what I would call an enthusiast or high-end gaming computer.  That all changed yesterday (at least I think it has, which is why I've taken to posting for the first time.  Opinions are most welcome) with an order with the 'egg.  Got a EVGA X58 classified 3, Intel i7960, EVGA GTX 570 superclocked, some Dominator RAM and a 1200w Corsair PS.  Some other nice goodies as well but those are probably details that fit better in a seperate thread.

I'm gonna be new to the whole overclocking thing and this is just what I thought was a nice starting point to build towards possible multi SLI, water cooled something or other if the mood strikes me sort of thing.

Anyways, looking forward to learning a lot here (and boy do I have a lot to learn) and participating in some great discussions.

Hello, everyone. Me new. Big fan of gaming, but my parents think gaming is the devil. (Not in a religious way, but you get what I mean, right?)
So I'm on low end hardware, cause I have no choice. :(
EVGA GeForce GT 520 1024MB DDR3. My dad was gonna actually get me an 8400GS, as it was the weakest available. /facepalm
Anyway, I managed to wind up with this. So, that's my story. Hope it was entertaining. :P
Anyway, I do play few games on this. Can get 30FPS at 1366x768 medium details with no MSAA on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, around 50FPS in Batman Arkham Asylum etc. I'm not really into first person shooters, so I believe this is enough for me. :)
Oh, and I'm soooooo hyped about Arkham City and AC Revelations. :D
Here's hoping to be a lil bit more than a lurker, and learn about things like overclocking. I've overclocked my i3, but know nothing about overclocking GPUs. Yet. :)

EDIT: Oh, and I buy like 2 HD movies a month at least (on line downloads), and on my slow net connection, it takes a long time, so I leave em on overnight a few days. Could I set my GPU for Folding@Home or something while the PC's on? Some help would be really appreciated. :)

Hey guys!

I'm Matt, most of you older members know me.  You newer guys probably have no clue who I am...

I used to be on here all the time, but now I'm just kinda lurking, posting when I see fit.  I noticed some people put pictures of themselves up, there's one of me and my girlfriend on the forums somewhere, I think in my happy birthday thread you guys put up for me.

Hello, fellow EVGA forum members!  I'm Derrick, and have been a member of a certain other community for quite a while, and decided that there is no reason why I can't spend some time over here as well.

I am an IT analyst with a major Fortune 100 company, and have been building PCs for about ten years now.  As of right now, I am in the process of moving to my new apartment, and will post my finalized rig specs once it is completed.
