thank you, could not believe i done it with my set up.  Z390 with a 8700k, and a 1070FTW ..  but i do have a GTX460, a Asrock AMD AM4 board and 16gb of memory just setting by me.  thinking of tossing something in it and seeing what happens with that set up and this set up ..

I had forwarded the info, to make a more fairer point system, due to the huge discrepancies between top of the line GPUs, and bottom line CPUs.
While an RTX 2080 Ti (doing 2.2M PPD) certainly is faster than a 6 core i5 at 3 GHz doing 30k PPD, it most definitely is not +70x faster.
 
They didn't want to change the point and reward system, so it's what we have now. Boinc is more fairer with points, as they look at the work done, rather than giving a larger time bonus than an actual bonus based on work performed.
