Bikerz... no you don't need a new passkey
however you have to re-prime it again for the new team
(you have to do another 10 wu's before you can get bonus points for Bigadv)

if you have you profile all straight with your Folding name the same as your login name and all the other info shykal gave you - you should be set

PS:
welcome to all you new folders...
you have joined a great team and hope you enjoy your partcipitation here

Since I just ordered a new EVGA 560 Ti to go with my 2 year old EVGA X58 760 (which my dumb brain failed to register) and because I'm in a mood to slowly upgrade my system, I decided to tax the bejeezus out of the CPU and fold.

Guess you can call me a newbie at this.
A few things about me:
I hold the patent for dirt, meaning I'm an old fart (56).
Currently running an Intel I7 950 with 12 gigs of OCZ Gold.  Yeah it's old too.
Tomorrow my new 560 comes in to replace the 275 in my system and that 'old' card goes into a build for a friend who is a bit down on their luck.
I don't OC yet, played in that arena years ago but it was iffy back then.  I need to learn more.
That's about it, oh and I joined the EVGA folding team... eh, it's a good cause and like many of you I keep my system on 24/7.  Had to find some way to justify the upgrades.

Hi ya All,

just checking in and i hope that i'm GPU crunching right,  as the download page sent me to the CPU download page...

here have a look :-
http://www.evga.com/folding/download.asp
as you hover over the GPU and CPU downloads they are the same page,
when in-fact i believe the GPU page should be...

if so, please adjust the links.....

Greetings,
I have a spare system settting around.  The system is Q9550 2.8 ghz on an EVGA i790, 8 gb of ram, along with 2 EVGA 465 Video card in SLi running Win 7 (64 bit).   This system can be totally used for Folding.
Which would be better, the CPU client or GPU or both?  Have have other questions, so who would be a POC?
THank you for your time.

Can my Q9559 CPU run under (enable bigadv)? I am running SMP along with GPU0 and GPU1.  How do I get the EVGA's sig for folding?
Thanks

No! 9550 cannot do bigadv... not enough cores
(extremely tough to make the deadline and get the bonus points)

sigs can be gotten here

Yup, you need 8 cores (or threads) to do a bigadv, the the minimum with 8 cores is 3.6 ghz.
