Unfortunately that's pretty much in-line with what a 1050Ti is rated to pull in PPD.

Oh darn. It is a pity as that card runs very cool (38C) while folding. Well thanks for the info! Hopefully will be able to order a new card soon (eyeing 3080 but budget says 3060ti...)
 
edit: after a couple of weeks, it averages a bit higher than 300K (currently 340K), but sometimes get a very slow work unit. As the card is power limited (especially as there is no power plug on the card), so far I didn't find an overclock setting that made much of a difference.

If/when you do upgrade, I'll take that 1050Ti off your hands. 

Rediscovered evga's community after a 10+ year hiatus due to my need for a new 30 series card for my new build.  Used to fold back in the olden days (300k points in 2009 or something) and I'm now back to full time folding with my current rig, and I will be folding on my new one as soon as I have a GPU to plug into it!
 
It's sad that in a matter of a few days I have doubled my points from 10 years ago that took me months to compile.  Technology is incredible.
 
edit: I desperately need to update my signature line, anyone have good recommendations for good looking spec pic generators?

i just start it last year i didnt know about folding until bernacles stream point it out i wish i would know earlier when i got my 980 4 years ago, that card is gone. currently using a 1080 and hope to fold some more in this great team.

Just now getting around to folding on a PC after folding on the PS3 all those years ago. It feels good to be making a difference as a part of such a great team.

Happy to be a part of research. (I volunteered for the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine study last July) After 30 years in the Army and placing myself between good people and terrible things, I figured that it was worth the risk. I have 1 of 2 machines online as of today. I will have the second online this week. Each is a 5950x 128GB RAM. One with an EVGA FTW3 3090 and 1 with 2 EVGA 2080TI in SLI.(That is the Water-Cooled version I am currently building.) My folding name is Russell_Stringer.
