Do I need to get a passkey, or it's fine using just my name and team number? Also appears there are already points under my name... not sure if that was someone else using my name, or me from years ago, but I think it's the former. I like this setup using the browser way more than the last time I used it. Presumably we're folding for Covid19  ..or just anything?

You will definitely want a passkey as it gives you a QRB (quick return bonus). You can choose to fold for any cause you want or leave it at "Any" and it will choose projects for you based on priority. Currently, most projects are tied to Covid19.

Thanks Alsocom. Well just started, and I got through about 20-25% of a unit on the GPU side and Precision X shut down, then something I've never seen before is a single tab in FireFox closed itself.. then another, then the GPU side stopped completely. Tried to restart and found the work my GPU had done was lost and it started again from zero, although the CPU side was still crunching along. Got to 5% on GPU and I got a BSOD and reset. Already have my 3090 in for advanced RMA, just waiting on a replacement. The 3090 was on defaults btw, no overclock. I've set the client for 'light' so it only uses the CPU now. If I get time tomorrow I'll take out the 3090 and put in my emergency 980 TI card, better than nothing.

I'm trying to figure out where to get the passkey... :/
Found it. https://apps.foldingathome.org/getpasskey

Here is all of the information on the passkey. A little ways down the page is the link to obtain it.

That's OK. With the QRB, you will more than make up for any lost points. I will be interested to see how your 3090 does when you get it back from RMA. My 3080 FTW3 Ultra can go from ~5.8 - 7 Mil/ppd and the 3080 XC3 Ultra is about .5 mil/ppd less.

I just joined last month (November 2020), but there is no option to fill in the form my accurate data :(.
Also my folding id and community are slightly different:
gaelex vs. Gaelex
So they might not match exactly

Hello all!  Joining the FaH crew.  Just fired up my unused 2013 Mac Pro with 6-core Xeon cpu, 32gb ram and AMD Firepro D500 3GB GPU.  I set the research support to "any disease" and the power slider to Full and "while I'm working".  Is that all I need to do? Any tips/tricks?  Thanks

https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/238643 - das me!  I changed my handle from when I was on NVidia forums waaaaay back when, but at one point I had 2 rigs folding on a total of 7 GPUs back then.  Imagine the sweet sound of 7 R9 290X blower-style cards running at 100% fan speed - and somehow I still slept in that room. lol

And I shall rain greatness upon thee... j/k I'll only be folding part time on my 3090, but at least I'm contributing something ^_^ should be good for at least 3.5M PPD on a part-time gig, system says it should be 6.5-7M PPD if done full time.

Make sure you setup a PassKey (click Configure on the Advanced Window & you'll see a link on how to get a PassKey on the Identity tab), make sure you're setup for Team eVGA (111065), give yourself a Name, get your PassKey inputted, so you get bonus points for time of completion, and you're good to go, I think.
You will only start actually getting bonus points after completing 10 Work Units, if memory serves - it does this to ensure you are a reliable folder & that your system won't spit back failed WUs first.
