Welcome to TEAM EVGA Haywire! Current info is that CPU folding is not worth the power to fold on. If you need any help we have a great team of people that will be glad to help out.

Thanks...  I can see why you say that.  My CPU is showing approx 3277ppd while the GPU is 44070ppd.

Hello,

I'm new to TeamEVGA, but not to folding, been folding since Nov 2016.  The team I'm on is slowly dying out, most of the top users aren't and haven't folding in a long time.  So I'm jumping ship and coming over here tonight when I get home.   I do have a few questions.  My folding name and name on here aren't the same, so on the form that it says to fill out on page one, do I put my name on here Teknogroovie or my FAH name Teknogroovin?  Also under year for folding with EVGA it only has 2017 not 2018.  So do I just click on 2017 or 2016 since that's when I started folding with a different team?  And the last question will that effect my EVGA Bucks earned having the two different names?

Thank you for your time.

I was more worried about my username not matching, On the form it's Teknogroovie and On  its Teknogroovin.   I sent a message to  to see if it can be changed.  I'm pretty sure I originally had the username Teknogroovin when I registered my first EVGA card the GTX670, but I don't think I have that email anymore.  The other two emails I tried password recover and never got any emily from EVGA to reset that password.

Tonight when I get home I'll be switching Team Numbers to Team EVGA

Hey folks, been folding under EVGA for a while now but never thought to check in here. Never been a participant in the EVGA forums before, and I doubt I'll be an active one, but I'll probably pop by now and again if I have anything folding related to discuss.

So I've been eyeing the EVGA team for a while now. I don't have any particular relation to this community, but I admire how EVGA actively supports the cause by awarding their contributors with something tangible, and in turn I want to support EVGA in any way I can. In fact I try to buy EVGA hardware whenever I can for this very reason. I collect my EVGA bucks every month, but living in Europe I'm not sure I'll ever get to use them. If they somehow buy me a decent graphics card for additional folding a few years down the line that's just a huge bonus I think.

I folded for a moment on my P4 2.8 GHz all the way back in 2004 - a time when GPU folding wasn't a thing yet. This was my first personal machine, and when I heard folding were supposed to only draw unused resources I thought "why not?" and gave it a go. However, it quickly turned out folding did have a massive impact on my gaming performance, so I quit shortly thereafter. Late 2014, about 10 years after I quit, one of the members from the team I'd been folding for PMed me, pitching F@H to me once again, and so I gave it another go on my GTX 570 and have been folding ever since. I got my EVGA GTX 970 SC a couple months later, and shortly after that I upgraded my CPU/MB/RAM, so I decided to make a folding rig out of my old parts and add two additional EVGA GTX 970 SSCs. About two years ago I RMAed my single 970 SC, and paid the difference to get a 1070 SC instead, and this plus the two 970 SSCs is what I currently have running. My client currently reports a combined 1.2M PPD across both computers, but in reality this will be somewhat lower as I also use my 1070 for gaming.

After having folded for my old team for a few years now, I decided back in January that I was fed up with the attitude from certain bad apples within the team and left. However I obviously still wanted to support the cause, and I didn't have to think twice about which team to join in their place, and so here I am. Hope to stay indefinitely!
