I finally got the 750ti into my daughter's PC and put it to good use. I am now folding and will be doing so 24/7. I scavenged parts from my rig when I upgraded she has the following: i5-4460, 750ti, 8GB Kingston hyper x fury ram (2x4GB), Gigabyte H97 MB, 600W corsair. So she probably has a better rig than any 8 year old.  

new folder .. starting to procure 970's to get things going.

I think it is, I have 5x 970's
The 980ti is perfect if you can afford them. I have 1x 980ti, and 2x 770's
