Just started folding for teamEVGA. Just wondering is there a advantage between a Nvidia and AMD cards? is it similar to mining?

right now advantage is all Nvidia with 980's
lower power consumption and better performance to boot

Also new at folding. Started last month. Wondering will Evgas folding promotion continue after this month? Couldn´t find any info....

every year EVGA has discussed the promotion internally to see if they wish to continue or want changes - raise the bar so to speak
im assuming that is the same this year...they won't talk about it or post about it until a decission is made
 
if you are gonna hear something about it ...you get some info on the forums first from one of the staff moderators

also make sure your EVGA profile has your folding name
 
Also last years stats you have to collect for year 7(last month)
 
you can't collect for year 8 first month :march until you complete enough for this month

I as well just started folding. I tryed when I had a old computer now I built my rig still in the works but runs better and smoother.
