Even gaming on Linux has gotten better, though i would still recommend Windows if the primary use is gaming.

I’ve built my own distro for work before based on arch. Linux is great and has made great strides in the past years to standardize sysfs and other system tools. CantOS seems to be all the rage these days.

Depends what you want to do on your O/S - I use Windows most of the time but I also love Debian and Parrot.

I enjoy using Linux for general use type stuff but for decent gaming, we are stuck with Windows.
