I thought I would miss Win 7 when I went to 10. I'm actually happy with 10. 

This is very much informative . I like the way you have cleared the doubts of many here via this well drafted post.

On my another working computer,switched to Windows 10 2 years ago.

Linux is good.Sometimes I think Microsoft has too many bugs,it makes people hate it.

If i no longer needed to work on Windows 10,i would immediately switch to Linux.

First thing that I learnt very quickly after install linux was that there's no official GPU drivers for linux systems! When I installed Ubuntu on my machine the screen started blinkering. After I tried to reinstall gpu driver the monitor went completely black and the system crashed. I ended up uninstalling Ubuntu from my machine very shortly after installing it :D 
 

Linux is not straightforward and easy to use, unfortunately
