Cool GTX
if it is still happening after all the suggestions above are completed

---> next, unplug your PC & confirm every component is fully seated & properly locked in to position;  RAM, GPU & both ends of power cables from PSU to hardware

Make sure Fast Boot is OFF, in MB BIOS settings .... you want MB to look for hardware at each boot & assign resources

Turn OFF the Windows Fast Startup "feature" ... you want Windows to look for new hardware, new drivers & allocate resources accordingly

(Otherwise Windows just starts from a saved file, of the last successful startup; but as your PC is not stable - that is not a good thing when system stability is an issue)

There are a few settings I see in your bios that should be set as follows...

Max Power Saving: Disabled
Global C-State Control: Disabled
DF Cstates: Disabled
SoC/Uncore OC Mode: Enabled

See what that does for you.

I did download the app WHOCRASHED and this is the message i got....

'A device object has been blocking an IRP for too long a time. This is likely caused by a hardware problem, but there is a possibility that this is caused by a misbehaving driver.
This bugcheck indicates that a timeout has occurred. This may be caused by a hardware failure such as a thermal issue or a bug in a driver for a hardware device.
Read this article on thermal issues
A full memory dump will likely provide more useful information on the cause of this particular bug check.'

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Quick google says a driver issue... This oddly only happens when browsing the net.....no freezing while playing games.

Your saying Windows locks up & never recovers?   How long have you waited?

Are you using the latest version of the Corsair iCue software?

Hardware acceleration turned off or on in your browser?

So my ICue was out of date.... updated it and had an error message saying that iCue service has failed to start... Had to enable it or set it to AUTOMATIC in app settings... Keeping my fingers crossed

FWIW...You don't have to have ICue load at startup to keep your fans & pump settings as it's stored in memory, but you do need to have the "Corsair Services" process set to Automatic in the services.msc settings.

Using Windows edge... In settings under performance there was no tab for hardware acceleration but some settings for video and I changed it to graphic card driver when it was set to super resolution. ???

Since the issue does not occur while gaming I’m going to suggest increasing the voltages on your cpu/cpu imc/ram until you reach stability at idle conditions.

I had a very slight undervolt in which i resorted back to factory settings....kinda new to this overclocking and undervolting thing....

Which settings do u recommend? Should i enable PBO? AMD overclocking, then add the voltages? Asus X870 wifi Plus

Before we try increasing voltages I need you to answer some questions about your ram...

Have you been running with xmp enabled or disabled? If enabled, I would try with xmp disabled, but manually set to 5600 MHz instead of 6000 MHz with timings & voltages set to what your ram sticks say on the side of the modules first to see if that helps.
