Recently built a new PC and although i had some hiccups in the beginning with 2 fake SSDs...I sorted that out and the PC seemed to be fine but lately it has been freezing in simple internet browsing. I had a small undervolt and thought this was the culprit but reverted back to factory settings. I am thinking of popping in the windows 11 usb to repair windows? I do play some games and no issues playing... Recently updated the bios to 0830 which is the most recent but still same issues... The cpu runs cool.... never hits above 38c when gaming and browsing it hovers around 32c.

The issues are when freezing, the computer just locks up and the screen is frozen, the mouse cursor is still and so is everything else. No codes or numbers on the MB. I need to reset the PC to gain access. Writing this, it locked up once, had to reset it.....lol

I forgot to mention I am using Logitech 915TLK keyboard and 902 mouse. When it does lock up, I will try and tinker with those and use them using a cable to see if I lose Bluetooth connectivity

Cool GTX
Your saying Windows locks up & never recovers?   How long have you waited?

Are you using the latest version of the Corsair iCue software?

There is a program called  - WhoCrashed - maybe that can help you

W11 up to date ? .... W11 not trying to update? - that would could system to be unresponsive

What browsers have you tried?

Hardware acceleration turned off or on in your browser?

Let's remove the fact that I thought it was Bluetooth connection because I remember going on YouTube and my cursor is pointed on a small box highlighting a video and hearing sound then I hear no sound...that is where I know it locked up.....windows is up to date.... will have to check for browser having hardware acceleration ON. Using factory windows Edge.

Will try your suggestion on WhoCrashed

Sounds like a power state issue. Disable all power saving features to see if that fixes the issue.

I'm not just talking about windows power settings. You'll need to disable all power saving features inside the bios as well.

Go into Control Panel > Power Options > High Performance (your power plan may vary, whichever is active) > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings.

Set every "power saver" feature to 0. This includes Turn off hard disk after, Sleep after, Hibernate, etc.

Once that's done open command prompt as an administrator and run DISM: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

This will check in with Microsoft for anything amiss with your Windows files and automatically download/install them.

So I thought this solved my issue but it didn't. I turned on the PC this morning and went to the washroom, less than 3min it froze.

Will be leaning towards the OS now to see if there is something I can do... I did try your Run option but I could not get it to run..

I got a message saying my PC does NOT have an app to run this..

EDIT; I got it to run.... I typed it into RUN command box that is why it wasn't working. So it did its thing and went to 62.3% and it stopped. the cursor is still blinking but not continuing...
OH NEVER MIND...it just went to 100% I got a message restore 100%

Crossing my fingers that this solved the issue.
