I may go for a 5070Ti or the 5080. Will see how well they perform doing what I would use them for. Maybe a xxxx super also. Will wait and see how much $$$$$ they are.

It will be $999 for the 5080 and $749 for a 5070 TI
They should be about  130-250 $ more for the other flavors of AIB cards with at least one basic card maintaining MSRP if past practice is indicative of our future results. They will stay close to the 40 series because of the export ban on the 4090, so the performance of all the lesser cards will be gimped enough to be sold in China.

Solid pass with what has been put out so far. The only thing that could even make me think about biting is a PNY Kingpin RTX 5090... that would be a huge debate because I can run anything smoothly as it is now even with DLAA+PT already at 3440x1440.

I'm not paying $2000 for a card, but I'm pretty interested in the 5080 - but since I don't really need a new card yet,  I can wait to see if they release a "Ti"  version for the 5080 w/ more memory  ( it needs to have 24 gigs )

Honestly you should try to snag a 4090 used for 1100-1500 depending on the model.

Why do NVidia never learn to get a decent supply at launch? Same every series for years.

Yeah, if I was going to get one, then I'd prob get the Gigabyte Waterforce card with the Waterblock. I might try to see if one is available on the 30th, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I heard stock is limited, but stock is always limited with new launches.

To Create a Demand and push people to a Geforce Now subscription and lets be honest AMD drops the ball every time. When Nvidia saw what people would pay scalpers for a GPU they wanted their cut. They created the demand by selling large amount of GPU's to miners and scalpers and they have been sticking it to gamers ever since. That's why i bought a used Evga 3080ti it makes my games look insane and was less then $400. Someone always has a GPU to sell when new models come out.
