Dear EVGA Community,

Thank you everyone for your patience while our team worked on the updates per Intel for the Z690 motherboards.
These updates include the 0x129 Microcode from Intel for the Z690 series motherboards.

We only recommend this BIOS for the Z690 with Intel 13th Gen. Processors.

The BETA BIOS can be downloaded at the links below:

Please take note that we do not recommend updating your BIOS if you are not running an Intel 13th Gen. Processor.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for providing this! I will test it soon, I don't see any readme included specifically looking for the changelog. is the only change to this Beta BIOS the CPU Microcode?

Thanks!

I think changes are what INTEL requested from vendors:

1. Intel default settings to avoid elevated power delivery impact to the processor (May 2024)
2. Microcode 0x125 to fix the eTVB issue in i9 processors (June 2024)
3. Microcode 0x129 to address elevated voltages (August 2024)

Thanks I will try them out as I have 13900KS processor right now in my eVga Z690 Dark motherboard. Will test them out.

I installed this update and then applied all my previous settings. As far as I can tell, I see no difference in performance, clocks, voltages, etc. But I did turn off Intel default mode. I did turn on most of the new protection options, but I left the power limit at auto and it seems to be unlimited.

There is no plan to support the Z690 chipset Motherboard and the 14th Gen. Processors due to hardware circuitry that would need to be reworked as well, to support the two generations CPUs from original design.
