Bug fixes and adds Smart Fan control for ELEET X1.

BIOS 1.09 (A599 DARK) / BIOS 1.09 (A597 FTW)

  • Adds advanced Smart Fan control to BIOS and control via ELEET X1.
  • Fixes issue where 5800X3D cannot run 45 multiplier.
  • Fixes issue where some XMP 3800 modules may show 3733.

BIOS Installation
  • Download the correct .zip file below for your motherboard:
         121-VR-A577-KR - EVGA X570 FTW - v1.09
         121-VR-A579-KR - EVGA X570 DARK - v1.09
  • Extract the contents of the .zip file to a USB flash drive (must be formatted as FAT32).
  • Next, reboot the machine and go into your motherboard BIOS and load defaults.  Save, reboot, and re-enter the BIOS.
  • Click on the "Extras" button on the upper-left of the BIOS, and select "BIOS Update" from the drop-down menu.
  • Navigate to where you placed the BIOS file and select the correct .bin file.
  • The BIOS will ask you to confirm that you've selected the correct file.
  • Press "Yes" to start the flash process
  • DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS
  • After the flashing is finished, the system will automatically shut down. Then power on again and go into BIOS to setup.
BIOS Installation Without CPU
  • Extract the contents of .zip file to USB flash drive (must be formatted as FAT32)
  • Rename the file "EVGAA5XX.bin", where XX is the last two digits of the part number (e.g. X570 DARK should be EVGAA579.bin)
  • Install the USB flash drive into the USB Type-A port on the motherboard.
  • Make sure to connect the 24pin power connector from your power supply to the motherboard.
  • Switch on the power supply, if it is not already on.
  • Hold the BIOS Update button on the rear I/O for approximately 2 seconds until the flash begins (the cursor on the POST LED will begin cycling)
  • The BIOS update may take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete.  When done, the board will restart.
  • Complete the rest of your build at this point to confirm a successful flash.

Please let me know if anyone runs into problems with this update.  Thanks!

Also, earlier BIOS files for each board can be found on our Download Center.

is there any way to stop this board applying the +.02v to vcore by default? it really screws with curve optimizer, it takes all of the adjustment of curve optimizer, -30 on all cores, to remove it on x3d then your left with basically a stock cpu completely defeating the purpose of CO in the first place.

Thanks again for the Smart Fan inclusion for us X570 owners, i'm looking forward to the multiplier and XMP fixes aswell (since i'm using the exact combination of X570 DARK + 5800X3D).

Here is the non borked X570 FTW link:

121-VR-A577-KR - EVGA X570 FTW - v1.09

(the only issue above is it has ".zip" twice, i'm sure it gets corrected soon)
You can also navigate to it from the Drivers and BIOS section: https://www.evga.com/support/download/

I have tried to install bios update 1.09 on FTW. Bios switch not changing. Cannot reset bios. Stuck in pre post boot loop. Cmos does not clear. Tried to use Evgaa577.bin to recover but failed.

I have tried to install bios update 1.09 on FTW. Bios switch not changing. Cannot reset bios. Stuck in pre post boot loop. Cmos does not clear. Tried to use Evgaa577.bin to recover but failed.

Unplug the PC from the home power outlet. Take out the motherboard battery. Clear the CMOS. Wait 15 minutes. Pu the battery back in. Plug the PC back into power. See if this works and if not contact EVGA tech support.

did you rename the bios correctly? it needs to be exactly EVGAA577.bin and placed at the root directory
plug your usb into the flash header, and hold the reset button until the rotating animation starts, and leave it the computer should start once it done flashing.
also the flashing process only flashes one bios at a time there should be zero reason the second bios wont work if the first failed to flash.

if all else fails use the flash the original bios from the supplied usb driver disk

I have tried with 3 different flash drives in fat32 256mb, 512mb And 8gb. All with EVGAA577.BIN IN root folder. This all started when I tried to flash Bios 1.09 on the 2nd bios tab, it failed and I rebooted on first bios and it worked. Thought I had switched back to bios 2 and reflashed 1 with 1.09 and have not been able to clear CMOS . I also have tried,2600,3600,5600,5800x and 5700g CPUs.Evga USB drive was always inserted in motherboard USB and when I try to see the USB in another computer it does not read drive.
