I love EVGA and customer service and by no means am I speaking negatively about the company, this is just my personal thoughts....and my rant beings :)

This is crazy, Evga says thay want more cards for gamers but isnt that LHR is for?
By cutting the queue down do you honestly think cards are going to fall into  "so called gamers hands"? you will just get a influx of new users and google numbers.
I have joined many queues only because EVGA pours more inventory into  Bestbuy, Microcenter, Amazon, etc ( which truly is bot city ) and no human stands a chance than its own site. This is just a personal opinion as i see weekly drops with them and not on evgas own step up queue or email queue system.
I joined up for queues back in Sept 2020 and its still stuck there after 1 entire year. Hell I join a queue 9 seconds after launch and here I am 4 months later and you still have not fulfilled 9 seconds!!!
Why launch models that you cant fulfill in a reasonable time even with a shortage? Why even allow customers to sign up for a card that has a backlog for over a year?
Lets be honest EVGA is just trying to make there own queue system better so they can say '' our customers dont wait that long for a card '' but would that really matter in the end if you cant produce every model you launch? To top it off why punish customers that are just trying to get the first card they are able to get their hands on? I mean look at EVGA B stock cards, I see nothing being done about to stopping bots and scalpers when they drop weekly.

If Evga ever reads this, the only way to stop bots and scalpers is to either limit orders to each household maybe 1-2 cards a month ( like zotac ). maybe give people the chance to link facebook to their account for human verification. Ban Ip address who try to spam your site? Why is there no Captcha for your B stock items? For the love of god remove the who xxx post amount to become an élite member.  I personally feel this is more of an attack on customers than bots and scalpers, basically from what I am reading EVGA is saying " Hey pick 2 cards that you MIGHT get before super series or the rtx 4000 comes out, May the odds be forever in your favor ".

How does this work for people who originally had early queues for the lower tier cards (i.e. the XC Black) versions, but only signed up for the queues for the upper tier models much later when they noticed that the lower tier queues were not moving? Will you be offering those people a chance to purchase the upper tier cards on their queues too?

Yes, as EVGATech_LeeM posted here (you have to choose 2 SKUs you want and remove the rest):

Thank you for your response and yes but if only the two oldest entries are going to count going forward, we need to have better visibility into the probability of getting them to be able to make an informed decision.

For example, there is a big difference between "do not expect many" and "if at all". Some people might want to keep one of their two entries in the -KR queue if there is still some chance, otherwise it just does not make sense to waste the entry. Different -KR queues might have different chances too.

Please consider sharing some information to help us pick the entries to keep. It was not an issue before, but with the new rules it would be really helpful to have at least some insight on how realistic staying in a given -KR queue is if we are to pick only two entries.

Respectfully, we've pretty much already given this guidance.  Under most circumstances, we probably wouldn't say anything due to giving internal information.  Telling people which SKUs we will likely have available informs our competition, as well.  Also, up to a certain level, we cannot control what we chips we have available to make and other material shortages may force decisions about which products we make down the road.  I would suggest that any guidance we're giving here should be taken literally, and that if you choose a different part number or type of card, you do so with the understanding that we cannot guarantee that there will be more.

To reiterate the advice we've given publicly -

LHR vs. Non-LHR - With the exception of the GeForce RTX 3090 cards (which are non-LHR only), we do not expect to fill many orders for non-LHR cards at this point.  We cannot give much guidance past that.  I would only consider staying in a non-LHR (-KR) queue for the RTX 3080, 3070, 3060 Ti cards if you only want a card for mining and have no interest in a card for any other purpose.

HYBRID, HYDRO COPPER, K|NGP|N - These are impacted queues.  If your goal at this point is to get at least one 30 Series card, I would choose at least one or both XC3 ULTRA GAMING OR FTW3 ULTRA GAMING card as one of your 2 notifications.  If your goal is to try to get two 30 Series cards, then I would suggest removing the HYBRID, HYDRO COPPER, and K|NGP|N cards from your notification list.  If you only want a HYBRID, HC, or KPE card, and you are willing to risk not getting a(nother) 30 Series card, then feel free to keep these cards in your notification queue.

XC3 GAMING, XC3 BLACK GAMING, FTW3 GAMING - Note the lack of ULTRA in these names.  Jacob noted that the XC3 ULTRA GAMING and FTW3 ULTRA GAMING cards are the ones that will have most availability.  Some of you have noticed in the queue summaries that some of these part numbers have moved very slowly since launch.  I would not expect them to suddenly surge forward at this point.  If you have the choice between XC3/XC3 BLACK and XC3 ULTRA, or FTW3 and FTW3 ULTRA, we strongly suggest you keep the ULTRA cards in your notification queue.

I understand that everyone would love to have perfect knowledge when making their decisions here, but the subtext on these is pretty clear.  If the guidance was less black and white about what we think will be available, then we wouldn't offer it in the first place.

Can someone clarify something for me? I am assuming we are limited to two cards now INCLUDING the ones we have already gotten and purchased yes? Just wanting to make sure before I permanently remove a notify.

I don't see anywhere in the release that it says anything about past cards.  Basically, make sure the two you want are in your notify list, remove everything else.

"Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup."

I have already received 2 cards from the "current line up" does this mean I'm screwed for getting my kingpin, or just limits me to 2 more cards. What about 20 series stock notifications, do those need to be removed?

You may purchase 2 more cards going forward.  It's irrelevant how many you've purchased before, unless you're trying to purchase the same part number again.  We still only allow one purchase per part number.
