thanks do you think it would be upgrade from the asus rog b550 f. and my current setup im using 2 nmve m.2 so if i change mobos would i have to reinstall everything

It's an XOC X570 board, so it's definetly an upgrade. But just like me the 5800X3D tuning is locked/limited (can't make use of the built in OC Robot either). But still everything is beefier on this one.
I'm also using double NVME on this currently, one Gen4 and one Gen3 (you want the faster/main drive in the top slot btw).
Ofcourse as with any motherboard change, you would want to start with a fresh windows install, as even with "uninstalling" old drivers doesn't always get rid of the previous platform footprints.
We now also have ELEET X1 with fan curves, so you can adjust it from Windows (needs latest BIOS and latest ELEET X1), i found this one a very nice addition!
Ohh and lastly, the RGB was the least effortless to control/handle on this board compared to any other vendor i tried (which is ironic, considering this isn't really about that kind of marketing and features)!

can it take the 5800x3d out of the box and whats the digital counter at top. dont think i had a high tech board like this before. and i really like how the 24 pin is sideways and the cpu connect is on the side. but im not an overclocker so it might not be worth it.

It's an EATX board, so you will need to make sure it fits the case (it's wider than your current ATX, look for SSI-CEB on google, thats exact size).
No, it can't take the 5800X3D out of the box, you wanna update the BIOS first. Support starts from BIOS 1.07, but you should flash to 1.09 since that is latest (don't forget that you need a flash drive and format it to FAT32 and only put the BIOS file on it, then follow instructions in manual how to flash without CPU!).

X570 Dark with 5800X3d upgrade. CPU clock says 0.54 in the v1.09 bios. Windows 10 barely runs. What am I missing?

Turn off slow mode. There is a physical button or switch on the motherboard for turning slow mode on or off.
