@EVGATech_LeeM, the situation with my previous post is still affecting me with random BSODs every ten days or so. I’m hoping you can give me some pointers.
I’ve had my 3090 Hybrid for a year and a half in my previous computer. Never installed PX1. The card came with C01F in normal, and C006 in OC positions from the factory.
Fast forward to a month ago, I built a new PC, but against my better judgement, installed PX1 this time, which immediately prompted to “update” the bios to the same C006, which I clicked “yes” in confusion. Ever since, I seem to get random windows crashes every once in a while. I had installed PX1 only to set LEDs to white, and then uninstalled it.
Any ideas if updating the bios to the same version would have caused an issue? First off, as I was on the latest bios from the start, why did PX1 deemed an update was necessary to the same bios version? Is there a way to force another “update” to see if it fixes anything?
I’m not very good in interpreting windows minidump files, but a person that took a look at two of them mentioned “it looks like your graphics card disconnected”.
Thanks
