after downloading the bios file for my 3080 FTW3 Ultra LHR and unzipping them, when I double click or try to run either of the files nothing happens.... I don't get any windows poping up to then click "y"

So again.
Pls help.
I can not flash the XOC BIOS at normal bios mode, only at OC bios mode
I do everything how it is in the description.

I did reset my motherboard bios.
set to UEFI mode
Fastboot disabled.
I allready tried to flash in normal and safe mode too in windows 10.
and the nvflash show me this: ...the firmware is up to date and still 400W original "NORMAL" bios.  
 
I tried to flash to XOC OC bios to switch to normal bios mode, and same.... the firmware is up to date and just 400W...

Before all I did save the both original bioses.
If I flash back original both bioses (normal and OC) and try to flash first the normal bios, same...the firmware is up to date and just 400W...
 
If anybody flashed both bioses,and both are 450W can me please save both bios files(.DA,.DB) with gpu-z and upload somewhere and send me a link?

P.S.: I get tdp limit at 400W vith the XOC OC bios, but normally the limit is at 450W
I want to try my card what happens if i flash both bioses.

I dont know why but I can not send the links from pictures.

hi guys quick question recently did the hybrid conversion on my 3080 ftw3 ultra Lhr card and im looking for the bios to flash it to make it act like the hybrid version but ive looked at  the bios listed and it says be sure that my numbers match well the numbers that are listed for the bios is 3898,,,, mine is 3897 -kl can i use the 3898 bios or is there a seperate one for this number. thanks in advance.

I sent a PM to the EVGA member that made this thread about this exact issue. This was his reply.
 
" I don't think I have the XOC versions for the LHR HY cards yet, so that's going to be the issue, currently.  I'll check again with our team."
 
Hopefully it gets sorted but who knows.

I installed the hybrid kit on my LHR 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I used this download

Just make sure you follow the other directions (turning off fast boot in your BIOS, and CSM which in MSI's case means just having the mobo set to UEFI only). Do a few reboots, flash the regular VBIOS (the one for the card in the non OC BIOS position). Reboot, maybe twice for good measure. Launch Precision X1 and it will update the cards firmware (RGB lighting, fan control etc). Then repeat for the card in the OC position with the OC VBIOS. 
 
I did that and it's working perfectly.

Just installed a new 3080 Ti FTW3 card and installed Precision which said bios needed to be updated and updated it to the latest bios for the card.
 
Was wondering out of curiosity what changes were made?

I don't think EVGA puts out update notes for new VBIOS or firmware versions

Is there any particular reason people flash the Hybrid versions of a BIOS? The 450w BIOS exists for my FTW3 Gaming Ultra but I went ahead and flashed the Hybrid BIOS just to see if it works, and well, yeah, of course it does lol
 

 
I am watercooling my card so I technically have a Hybrid lol, but again is the Hybrid bios adding anything when the FTW Gaming Ultra already has a 450w version?
 
Or is this just supposed to be for people who buy a Hybrid kit and want to convert? I guess it does no harm for me to be running this seeing as I have no fans connected anyway

Since the 3090 FTW3 Ultra has been available on the EVGA website several times this week - I purchased one. I was originally waiting for the Kingpin yet have given up unfortunately. 
 
Some questions:
- has the "new" version of the 3090 FTW3 Ultra (24G-P5-3987-KR) been redesigned and the XOC bios and power draw issue(s) resolved? 
-- Has the soldering defect been resolved/Load line balancing? 
- What is the "BEST" Bios for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra for someone that likes OC'ing and runs the OC 24/7? I do not mind fan noise AT ALL :) 
-- Is one software tool better than the other for the 3090 series cards? Precision X VS MSI Afterburner? I usually use MSI Afterburner yet am familiar with PX

After rma’ing the launch series of the ftw 3 3090 ultra oc (clown lips) I am Still waiting on a bios for 3090 ftw 3 ultra oc that will actually let me get close to 500w. We all know that even though it says we have the xoc 500w bios, we still can’t get close to it…. However I will give them the benefit of the doubt by saying that at least they fixed the load balance. But after paying $2000 for a gpu, I want to at least come close to 500w. Especially after spending close to another $1000 on a watercool setup just so I can oc the crap out of the card but can’t even come close to 500w….
