Nevermind I figured it out.  If you're having poor performance from your 3080 TI XC Ultra Hybrid Gaming like me, I made a guide on reddit if I'm allowed to post it here...

Hey guys! I have a 3080 ftw3 ultra and I just installed the hybrid cooler today. System booted after reseating the card a few times. It was running but idling at 70-75c. The radiator and radiator fans seem to not be working at all. Looked at X1 and it would allow me to change the colors and such but only 1 fan, rest were zero RPM.
 
I spoke to support and found out I had to flash the BIOS to make it a hybrid model. Gentleman showed me this forum and after installing the new firmware, things got worse. I made sure it's the correct model and everything but now I cannot even boot into windows for more than 5 seconds. Card seems to be overheating instantly, even turns off PC while in safe mode. I cannot see what X1 says since the program won't load in time for me to check. Anything that I can do?

My issue is not as extreme as yours but definitely have issues after I installed the hybrid card....and EVGA has been silent on this matter....I think it is a firmware issue...no matter what bios you are on....its has to do with the cooler and the software...

Which BIOS works for the following Part Number: 10G-P5-3897-KL?

     I've got the same question!   After 13 months I finally got a queue notification for the same card and am wondering the same thing myself!  Now I'm just waiting for it to ship and am spending the time trying to get everything ready when it shows up!
 
     The main page for this thread only mentions the original -KR versions, as does the 3080 XOC thread.  It's my understanding that flashing a -KR BIOS on a -KL card is a bad idea?  Or is that just old -KR VBIOS versions that wouldn't know about the new chip revision?  Do the latest VBIOS versions work for both types of cards?

Newest BIOS for 3080 Ti seems to have fixed the DSC issue that prevented you from being able to see the UEFI while connected via Displayport, nice

@evgaTech_LeeM i used this BIOS but IT didnt Change the Power Limit ? Does exist a xoc BIOS 450w for the hybrid ?

@evgaTech_LeeM so I used the bios u posted on page 11 on this thread to flash my 3080 ftw3 ultra LHR to a hybrid card, now I want to flashback, I tried both of the XOC and regular bios, all of them is showing the message below? Any way to fix this?
