yea i've disabled it and rebooted four or five times. It doesn't seem like the new bios makes any difference for me. I have just tried the oc version though i kinda wanted to leave the normal one alone just in case.

The only real difference between OC and normal is the fan curve. The updated bios is the same way but you have to flip the switch to each bios before you flash it. I would also do a ddu wipe and see if that helps

This might sound crazy, but try flashing the non hybrid bios, boot up, see if the PL changes.

Are any mods actually here anymore? Was wondering if they would release an xoc higher power limit LHR 3080 HYBRID BIOS for those who added a hybrid cooler to their 3080 ftw ultra. They finally released a working non xoc bios that didn't return the "firmware is up to date" message, but not an xoc version.

Basically what jdmast had been saying.

Can't agree more with coresare's post. I had same issue trying to take my LHR 3080 to a hybrid once I added the kit. Would like to see a working bios for the XOC version that doesn't say firmware is up to date as well.
