Yeah everything went through fine for both normal and oc bios, my power slider goes to 118% but according to HWINFO I only get 109% at most.  I am able to get +100 to 120 core, and +1200 memory so I am not doing too bad.

Hwinfo isn't reading the rails properly, known bug if you search around. You're probably pulling at least 25w more than it's showing. And remember those numbers are offsets from the core and thus arbitrary. Look at the actual clocks reached.

Hey @EVGATech_LeeM,

What is the difference between a vbios that starts with 94.02.26 and one that starts with 94.02.42 ?
I'm asking this because I tried to update my vbios through PrecisionX1, and I got an error saying something about different image firmware, and my 3080 XC3 Ultra was not flashed.

So I came here looking for the manual vbios you posted, and I noticed my stock vbios on GPU-Z shows as 94.02.26.40.CC and the one you posted for my model with the ReBar update is 94.02.42.C0.14 and it says Override ID. Is that correct? Is there a difference in Revisions? mine is revision A1, I got it very early when it launched, so I guess maybe the 42 variant is a newer vbios for the exact same model, but my concern is I heard a vbios for a different revision can brick the card. Can you help with the right vbios for my model? (3080 XC3 Ultra).

Also, the stock vbios for the 3080 XC3 Ultra you posted is 94.02.42.80.C4 , it's different than my stock vbios (94.02.26.40.CC).
I just want to make sure I choose the right one to flash. Techpowerup shows there is a fourth vbios (94.02.26.48.76), which I guess is the first ReBar vbios that EVGA released. I'm just wondering if the 42 variant will work or not.

Thank you!

The "The display adapter firmware is up to date." issue for LHR 3080 users, is there any update, OP?  Thanks

When trying to convert to a hybrid by flashing a BIOS, I mean.

Sorry, I'm pushing our team again on this issue.  Hope to hear back in a day or two.

Thank you , glad to know this is still on your radar.

For those of you with the 3080 FTW3-type LHR cards, give this BIOS a try:

Instructions:
•      Download the 4898.zip file.
•      Extract the files to a location on disk.
•      Make sure no programs are running in the background, and double click 4898_Normal_ovu.exe
•      Press "Y" to begin the update.
•      DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS!
•      After update, restart PC.
•      For OC bios(4898_OC_ovu.exe), you must toggle bios switch to the position of OC and do the same process as above.

If successful, I'll add it to the main post.

Hi. Worked fine for me thanks!

This worked for me too.  All the BIOSes on the OP just said 'firmware is up to date' when trying.

Thanks!  This did the trick for me as well.

Oh that's unfortunate, if a significant portion of the people buying these cards end up swapping for the hybrid it would be great if at least the nice blocks could be reused.
Would I be correct in guessing that the replaced caps are the 2.5V polymer cans at the output of the VRMs? Did they get swapped to surface mount SP-caps or similar? I can't seem to find a shot of the HC PCB floating around.

It's been a few weeks since I saw a side-by-side shot of the PCBs, but I believe it's the row of caps closest to the memory chips on both sides of the GPU (left/right).  As you said, I believe these were swapped to surface mount SP-caps, but don't take that as gospel.

I’m used to equating gospel with misinformation, as opposed to fact.

Did you have fastboot disabled when flashing the bios? what time the BIOS didn't update after I manually updated it was when I had not disabled fastboot... Thought I screwed something up
