Crap. I've been getting a lot of game crashes (Destiny 2) after changing my regular 3080 to hybrid. I cannot reflash back to non hybrid now either =(. Getting the same adapter is up to date error as before.

Update - I used DDU then reinstall nvidia driver and also uninstalled Precision X1 and it seems ok. Updating nvidia driver without DDU it still crashed. Precision x1 even when set to no overclock game kept crashing. It crashed even though Precision x1 wasn't started. I'm not sure if it was DDU or removing Precision x1 that fixed it.

Any word on the 3080Ti FTW3 power balancing? I'm drawing 140-150 on pin 1-2 but only 70ish watts on pin 3

It wasn't, and I switched back. But even on the stock bios I get the same as you 80-100/140-160/70-80

sounds all too familiar

if this is the same bios i'm thinking of, I hit 240w on pin 2, pin 1 and 3 are basically sleeping and PCIE was 96w lol

I have a similar issue on my 3080 LHR FTW3 Ultra. Never pulled more than 390W with Pin 3 maxed at 70W even on the OC BIOS set to 118%. Still looking to convert back to stock from the Hybrid though firmware though, the tool keeps saying "The display adapter firmware is up to date" whenever I try to flash back. Hopefully it gets resolved.

I was going to look at the Ti variant hoping the power balancing issue would've been resolved there but looks like that idea is out the window.

For those looking for more power from pin 3, don’t forget that the PCI-E slot itself draws up to 75W of power. 150W (pin 1), 150W (pin 2), 75W (pin 3), and 75W (PCI-E slot) totals 450W. Also, keep in mind that you won’t always been drawing 450W as it really depends on what load the card is under. And, as a reminder, software readings of power draw aren’t always accurate. For higher accuracy, use a multimeter or a clamp meter.

How would I get the XoC ROM that NVFlash would need to flash it? Outside of this forum I've seen nothing that details anything specifically for the LHR version (10G-P5-3897-KL). The executable/tool on this post just says: "The display adapter firmware is up to date" then does nothing.

Figured it out! Thanks! Back on Normal and XOC BIOS.
Still not drawing more than 360W in TimeSpy and 380W in Furmark & Heaven even on the XOC BIOS with Power set to +118% and an OC of +110Mhz on the core and +1100Mhz on the Memory. Pin 2 is maxed at 150W while Pin#1 is pulling 120W and Pin#3 never pulls more than 80W if I round it up. Slot draws 40W.
