Has anyone had the issue, where you've received a 3090OC from RMA, which still doesn't work with the 500W BIOS?

was there not revision cards which had this fixed ? like revision 1.0

I have a 3070ti ftw3. When I switch the bios switch to OC isn’t the power limit on the card supposed to change in PX1?

Probably just more aggressive fan profile , check bioses with gpu z on both switches might be the same

Yeah. Disabled fast boot and CSM. Enabled resizable bar.

I was given this thread from Jacob.

I restarted my Pc like 5 times.
I have the FTW ULTRA With the Hybrid kit on it.
I flashed the 3080 FTW ULTRA XOC REBAR Bios. I have it switched to OC on my RTX 3080.

Before it wasn’t even completing.
Tonight it did and the bios in the X1 rebar section changed from needing an update to currently up to date.

The only thing not showing is EVGA RTX 3080 FTW ULTRA HYBRID.

Any ideas?

I have RTX 3080 XC3 BLACK (10G-P5-3881-KL )
I open EVGA  Precision X1  and it update my card vbios yesterday.
New Bios Version is [94.02.71.40.B7].
 
I am surprised for this update .
I dont know it will update Vbios . 
I think it only update Precision X1 Version.
 
So I dont save my old Bios Version file also not remember old vbios number .
it is not my day.
 
 
And this new Bios Version is not good work for my card.
 
When i use New vbios  to play game .
Temperature is highter than old. [OLD:60~63  NEW:63~70]
Make some voise louder than old .
fps is higher than old , but just only 3~5 fps 

[if you want , i can give you 3DMark-Firestrike(result) , then you can compare old and new vbios )
 
So i want to take old VBios to downgrade this .
But in this article , RTX3080 XC3 black origin is [94.02.71.40.B7].
 
maybe i need some old Bios Version or Previous Bios Version to try it again.
i want my old vbios come back .
 
because it is silence , lower Temperature for me .
 
I dnot want to RMA card , because it is NEW card in my hand , only 5 day!
And RMA it is very troublesome for me.
So i need some help .

After i update my Vbios , I DDU it again , but New vBios still not good work for me 

I also find some Old XC3 black Vbios in TechPowerUp , but in there Card all KR not LHR .
i cant use that

old vbios average : 130~180
new vbios average : 100~200
upper fps really improve , but lower fps really decline too .
so fps like high and down , not Stablize for my card .
another game either , like PUBG and CSgo


Important GTA (idk why)
In GTA fps is very lower than my old GTX1070
Regardless of old vbios or new vbios , their fps all lower my old GTX1070
Regardless of 1080p , higher setting or lower setting

Probably the card draws more power now hence the more fps / heat , i would be happy if this is the case

I will be picking up the same card monday so if you wait i can do backup i am planning to update it to newest after i did the testing on the old bios

maybe my batches is old .

In nvidia control panel make sure you set power to high performance
Monitor the core clock maybe the card is not boosting so that's why you see the lower framerate
