I didn't write any of these programs people use or engineer the hardware but I think things are working as they expect. (we are all guessing unless we are those people)  I have nothing to back this up but I feel the hardware will decide what it needs based on the what the software is demanding. (or vise versa)  People, go play videogames.  Put a few hundred hours into something you enjoy and use the hardware. Or don't and spend way too much time on forums never getting the answers you need or want. (mostly just a bunch of BS from people who also spend too much time with their confirmation bias) It does not matter how your card/system performs under stress tests or benchmarks if games behave differently so go frag something already. My card has pulled 460W and that was just by playing The Ascent with friends for a few hours.

A lot of people on these forums are enthusiasts and enjoy seeing how far we can clock these cards and what benchmarks we can get. That's why we are here talking about it. We also enjoy gaming. If I only wanted to game, I never would have purchased a 3090 - pointless overkill. I also use it for rendering. If you don't understand that, no problem, but the point is that not everyone is the same as you.

Anyone have any luck with any other of the bios on the 3080 ti xc3 ultra hybrid? What's the power limit on the bios on that one also?

Do we still not have a working 450w BIOS for the 3080 LHR ftw3? Pretty disappointing this card maxes out at 105% pwr limit.

There’s 3080 FTW3 LHR BIOS on the first page of this thread. I installed it on mine last week when I got the card, and the power slider now goes to 118%.

I messed with quite a few of them and they didn't work. Do you mind linking which one you used?

I installed my EVGA 3080 Ti XC3 about a month ago and put the hybrid waterblock on it at the same time, and since then, I've flashed it with the BIOS in this thread so Precision X will recognize the card as a hybrid card. Everything has been good since. Now, Precision X shows my running Graphics VBIOS 94.02.71.00.CE and shows an update next to it. I just want to make sure it's safe for me to update the BIOS this way since I flashed the card with a different BIOS than it came with. During a time with cards so scarce, and expensive, last thing I want to do is brick it. Is it okay to update the BIOS through Precision X? Since it should be a newer BIOS for the 3080 Ti XC3 Hybrid, I'm assuming it'll be fine, but I'd like some kind of confirmation first. Thanks!

Would still like to see a higher power limit bios for the 3080 ti ftw3 ultra.

Heck, I’d appreciate a 500W limit, or Nvidia to not be so anal with their GPU boost feature.
