After messing around with my new X15 in Unleash, I can say that clicking Default will only reset the current tab- still without warning, but at least it won't destroy all your settings in one click anymore.

[bug] On occasion, RGB Unleashed will reset majority of my button assignments for my X15 mouse. I notice when a button has stopped functioning as assigned. Then trying to reselect button configs results in a bug that prevents changes from being made. PC reboot fixed the stuck state and let me reassign the buttons again.

I have been a fan of EVGA for quite some time - the queue system allowed me to get a 3080 (after 13 months).  I "rewarded" EVGA by buying a power supply (SN1000 P2), mouse (X17) and keyboard (Z20).  All of this is reasonable to me - the hardware is outstanding.
 
Yes, this is my introduction to the Unleash mega-thread of mediocrity and disappointment.  Good lord have mercy, what is the deal with the Unleash software.  I have up-to-date software and have plugged the mouse USB into multiple ports to no avail. Most days, I turn on the new computer I recently built (AMD 5900X, X570 MEG, Win 10, 3080) to find the mouse on a different profile with everything erased from other profiles.  I then have to manually input everything while hitting "apply" with reckless abandon.  After all that, if I leave my computer on then I am set for the day.  Correct me if I am wrong but programs have been saving settings now for about 25yrs - why is this so difficult smh??
 
Am I missing something obvious in the settings or is it really this bad?

I have been using the software with the X12 mouse for a little while now.  So far, so good...but I have a request.
 
My other mouse (Logitech) has a feature in the software, where when you change DPI, it flashes on the toolbar, the dpi that you are now running at.  Example...I run at 4000, but if I move it up...it will flash 5000 dpi in the lower right hand screen.  When I do that with the X12...it just says L2, L3, etc.  Can you make it flash the dpi you are on?

Missing something? Probably. Obvious? Nothing seems to be obvious with this software.
 
The only thing I can think of is: make sure it does not start with the OS. I think that's the first thing I did when I opened Unleash RGB and that was like version 1.0.3.0. I know on some versions like around 1.0.7.0 I was having the issue you mention, but it was never a problem if Unleash was not running. If it's resetting things on it's own, you may need to RMA your mouse.

Am I missing the repeat/Turbo button in the software?

Both Logitech and Razer have it as a default.

Holding down the button repeats the selected keystroke. One software has a millisecond control, and the other is how many times a second. This is very important for macros in game to continue to fire through the macro.

My z20 crashes,at first thought it was me using old bios and only plugged in one usb, but i updated bios and fully plugged in keyboard and it still cuts out, I have to unplug and replug it in. I had recented did other RMA's so i was not wanting to do another seems like I talk to them (evga)way to much. and every time i'm on forums seems like they bann me and i don't even know why.

My X-15 crashes too.  I have a dpi change on one button that causes the lights to still show up 2 bars when i press the bind after it crashes.  But, the x-15 is not being detected by the software.  I found there even may be a key combination to get it to start back up from the crash. Those buttons would possibly be the ones located to the left of the left click and some other combination.
 
I also notice before the crash the mouse skips and stop on the desktop repeatedly for 30 seconds, too.  Sometimes it does not crash.  Sometimes it happens at startup. Sometimes it happens after walking away for a period of time.

After some investigating I found after I unplug and plug back in the mouse (x15). It stay unlit.  I press my dpi change bind (2)  and right click and the mouse initiates and RGB lights turn on.  Really odd thing. Is this because it's plugged into a USB 3.0 port?

After the update today that wiped all my settings, I'd like to see a full profile backup(import/export) bumped up the list.  Came to suggest, but found it already on the list.  A feature that the software probably should have had from the beginning.
