I've had my 48" CX for going on 5 months or so now.  When I first got it I had a 2080ti paired with it and all was well.
The out of the blue every now and then I would get no signal sometimes when waking the PC from sleep, this took a power cycle to get signal back.
That turned into no signal sometimes when I would boot to BIOS and reboot back to the desktop or if I power Cycled my PC I would get the same and another power cycle would fix it.
Fast forward to present and I am on a 3090 and still have the same issues despite around 10 fresh windows installs/Driver installs.

Just at Random if I restart the PC I will get no signal and please don't let me have an overclock that is unstable,  when That happens I have to power cycle a few times to get signal back after a reboot.

It's already been mentioned several times here - disable Windows Fast Startup.

I have fast start disabled and if I set the monitors to turn off after the PC is idle for a small amount of time then I have this problem. My solution is to turn on the 48 CX when I boot my PC and after I log into my PC I turn off the 48 CX and just use my other monitors for non-gaming stuff. Then, I set the screensaver to turn on after a short amount of time. If I want to play some games then I turn on the 48 CX and turn it off as soon as I'm done with playing a game.

Hello,

I am new here and have a question...

I have the rtx3090
And a beand new lg oled cx

I dont have the problems you al mention here,
But i do not have any HDR??

I had a lg C8 before this and had HDR and changed it to a cx on a good deal, everything works but the tv doesn't give HDR content
I tried a streambox that has hdr and my pc.

When i try a game or 4k movie with hdr the tv keeps saying hdr type: sdr ?

I tried everything but cant seem to find the issue,

Tried my pc with my cable on an friend lg E9 and there was HDR right away.

Also the freesync info screen stays at 5.5mhz?
Whatever content i play?

Did anyone else have this before?
Its just like the tv doesn't shot in in hdr

Did you set your tv to instant game response, and hdmi deep color? These are required for gsync, and hdr.
Then you go into nvidia control panel, set everything to 4K/120Hz/Gsync ON, and in your windows screen settings HDR ON. Then you have HDR even on the desktop. Otherwise video player or game has to pull the HDR mode, if it is capable.

Yep everything is set ok,
I had everything execpt nvidia gsync on my C8
I changed to te cx for 120hz and g sync and i have no more hdr

Hd deep color is turned on
Also gsync and also in windows 10 its turned on.
I changed nothing.
Only changed to a cx.

I really get the feeling the tv is not ok?

Really nothing makes the tv show HDR anymore
Like insaid i tried the pc on friends E9 and it whas HDR instantly with no change of settings

If you can set 4K/120Hz/10bit/Gsync fine, then your cable is probably fine.
I would assume some TV setting here, to be the culprit.
Btw, 5.5Hz is "normal" (well bugged, but normal), if it shows VRR 3840x2160P @ 120  and RGB 10b 4L10.

Settings look ok then, its exactly what i have.
I have tried every single setting and there is not real much to set for hdr?

I had contact with lg and then don't have a clue 😂

The shop where i bought said we can swap youre tv for a new one? I had a pakkage deal with extra guaranteed so i van swap it with no costs
But i winder if that works? But they never heard of this problem. Like lg

What if you play some hdr content from a TV app? Like The Expanse from Amazon Prime. Does it pull your TV into HDR mode?

Nope stil no HDR mode,

Only problem is, via the settings you can see in what state hdmi mode is...
But via a tv app you cannot see the hdmi state.

But still no HDR

Inhad the feeling i was missing HDR and i found out trough this forum when i went to te tv settings via menu then press 5 times 1.

If the built in app does not pull HDR, then it has to be some of your TV settings. Or RMA your TV.
