The new driver version could be installed and the driver works. However, every time you restart your computer, the following error message appears. Of course, the driver has already been properly uninstalled and reinstalled, but of course this did not help.

Info: I'm using my NuAudio (Standard) in ASIO mode with Voicemeeter and Virtual Audio Cables from VBaudio to route my sounds.

- First installed this driver  2.1.14 over the previous 2.1.12. Sound was crackling, robotic and some output devices disappeared from device manager.
Addionally, there was a new entry in device group "other devices" called "NuAudio USB device".
- Uninstalled everything EVGA/VB Audio related, with several reboots and removing all "hidden devices" in device manager.
- Reinstalled 2.1.14, reboot, new entry in device group "other devices" called "NuAudio USB device" appeared again.
- Uninstalled everything again, uninstalled ASMEDIA, removed ASMEDIA devices from device manager, several reboots
- Reinstalled 2.1.14, reboot, "EVGA NuAudio init error 0x00001"
- Ran the setup a second time, installation was finished, reboot, everything seems to be working, from top to bottom no "ghost" devices in device manager anymore
but all links in start menu are missing
- proceeded with VB Audio...

This still is an amazing card.

I think there might be a compatibility/confliction with NU v0.2.1.14 and the 30 Series Nvidia GeForce 456.38 Studio/DCH driver. I get a buzzing sound coming from the audio when in games, but no where else. When I reverted to v.0.2.1.10 it went away. Reason I am using the Studio driver is because the Game Ready Driver is broken for me.

Edit: It looks to just be an INSANE amount of EMI coming off the 3090 GPU & PSU from power draw. RIP. Gotta figure something out now on audio card placement.

Hi,
Still cant use the Nahimic software  as it causes distortion with Battlefield 5, all seems fine without Nahimic installed.

Replying to an old post, but any information is good information...?

I had similar error code few driver updates back. Only solution which solved it was installing windows again. No error codes after clean install. Partial install might work, didn't try it.

Thanks for the driver.

Unfortunately the driver didn't solve all issues:
- having to reboot to get sound from the card at least once a day;
- optical passthrough supports only stereo. Using it in surround mode leads to loud skrieking and static (digital) noise and stuttering video in 5.1 sources (such as Netflix). Optical passtrough worked flawlessly with the onboard realtek which I now use as workaround.

I have the same issue as previous poster. I have latest drivers installed (EVGA_NU_Audio_0.2.1.14_WIN10) and card was working fine but every time I restart my computer there is about 50% chance of getting "EVGA NU Audio driver failed to install correctly. Please reboot your computer and run the installer gain." error. After rebooting card will either start to work again or this error will show up again. Like I said it's 50/50 chance.

Ok. So after latest windows updates my sounds just stop and windows just won't recognise soudn card. I have to restart computer and windows basically just makes new hardware installed sound and it works like normally.
This has now happened 2 times since last updates and ONLY after windows updates. Fricking microsoft.

Ok so, these are the updates that caused sound issues for me. One of these updates refused to uninstall but reinstalling audio drivers seems to have fixed this issue.
