I'm going to buy a secondhand GPU from a friend, on the EVGA website...

EVGA calls it "B-Stock".

I'm going to buy a secondhand GPU from a friend, on the EVGA website I don't see any option for "secondhand" in the purchase place menu, Where to find it? and if I ever needed to use the warranty remaining, will I need a proof of purchase ?

EVGA will accept a hand written paper between you and your friend as proof.  You will need this to register the card to your account.

But my card is used, there is no used or secondhand option. Where can I find it?

You don't have enough posts to include a picture.  Please break up the link and post it, and I will reattach is an image for you. Well, never mind, you got it to post where it normally won't lol.

As for the option, just put local, or any other place, and attach the image of the hand written not.  EVGA can adjust the information for you on the back end. If the card is out of warranty due to manufacturer date or what not, it will just be informational for you to have it registered.

I purchased a 10 year warranty for my 3080ti back in 2021. Is that still good as long as EVGA stays in business?

Is EVGA dropping warranties on products we already own?

I have a 1000W G3 power supply that I've had for less than 3 years. The product description in my products page says 10 year warranty. It said 10 year warranty when I bought it. The warranty page on the website says that product number has a 10 year warranty. My product page now says it only has a 5 year warranty:

Did I miss something?

Edit: I put in a ticket and they've informed me that it was a server error on their end and the 10 year warranty is still active.

Hey guys, I have a Power Supply EVGA 1000W G3 unit 80 Plus that I had for a while but I cannot find the receipt from where I purchased it most likely Bestbuy but I am not sure. Anyways, I also failed to register the unit which I am normally good at. Anyways, this power supply started having issues so I tested the unit and I am not receiving any 5V 3.3, or 12V. I checked the warranty and it still has about 3 years. Can I register the unit into my account even though its been a while and request an RMA?

Thanks in advance!

Hi B0baganoosh,

This was a bug on the page and was fixed last night.  Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should see any other errors.

Dear djangelicon,

Please email me the serial number and I can help to check the place of purchase for you.  cbencivenga@evga.com

Please understand that we do need a receipt to show that you are the original purchaser, but I can try to help you to locate the place that it was shipped to so you can see about obtaining a copy of the receipt from them.
