I'm not trying to be rude, but what's the point of this guide since the voltage will never be constant due to gpu boost?

The point of this guide is to show you how to force max voltage & curve overclock with msi afterburner. On air your voltage will still be adjusted down from 1.093v because of temps. On water it will hold 1.093v easily.

So for those of us on air, is there really a point in doing this? My Oc is the same as before.

Hi, I'm having a little bit of trouble with step 10 of the guide.  I was successful in getting the voltage to jump up once, however, when I try to repeat the steps I can't get it to budge. Would you have any ideas on where I may have gone wrong?

Thank you

I have had that happen to me before. You need to reset afterburner to stock by pressing the reset button, then close afterburner and re-open it then try again.

So I gave it a try a few days ago and it didn't work.  I was about to report back today but I decided to try again first and something different happen this time when I did the control L part.  The white line is now near the yellow one.  Technically the voltage isn't locked since it changed a little bit, but My clock it currently at 2038 and bounces around between that and 1990 so it seems I have the bulk of the performance gains anyway.  I really have no idea whats up with afterburner and why it's working differently, but I seem to have what I was looking for.

Thanks

Thought I had this working but now it's acting weird. Followed the guide to the letter but I'm still dropping clocks and voltage (GPU 40-47C). What's wrong?
