An added feature on task manager is the GPU temp on the Performance tab

Yeah thought this inclusion was cool too .. but makes me wonder why not add it in for CPU also?

I am always deleting the rollback stuff before the two week mark when I see everything is running smoothly.

Three weeks after the move to 2004 and nothing but some typical annoyance faulting here and there not so related to the operating system.

Yeah, seems like you could tap the BIOS for the CPU temp. Even older boards have that.

What is the two week mark you speak of?

Do you remember how much disk space you gained by deleting the rollback compared to what you started with?

The new version of Windows holds onto the restore folders (that 20ish GB I mentioned that you said you delete right away) for two weeks then auto-deletes it after that.

A reference to Storage Sense that will automatic cleaning up previous installation of files after is ten days and yeah saying two weeks was wrong. I never let go that long.

Perhaps 11.5 GB or so maybe? Every system will be different.

Update for the new Microsoft Edge for Windows 10, version 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, and 2004

The layout is a little bit different. I'm not able to get to the last post in the thread anymore when I click on the name like I did before. I have to scroll down to go to the last post. That's the only thing that went wrong that I can see so far.

That hasn't ever worked for me in Chrome (or at least for a looooooong time).  I just assumed it's a bug with the forum software.  I have the new Edge but haven't really played with it all that much still.  Thoughts vs Chrome?  I did put Edge on my tablet and phone as well so I can sync all the bookmarks I imported from Chrome.

I really don't use Chrome all that much, so I really can't compare them. Some things I see in the new Edge is nice, but I'm not as happy as I was before the update TBH.

With my experience and having ran into this a few times with customer systems, in 1903/1909 and 2004 there's an update that breaks Brother, Ricoh and other printer functionality.

The updates causing the trouble are KB4560960 for Windows 10 and Server 1903 (build 18362), 1909 (build 18363), and KB4557957 for the 2004 version (build 19041) released on 9 June.

1903 and 1909:

- download and install the Hide and Show Update Troubleshooter
- uninstall KB4560960, restart the PC
- run the Troubleshooter and hide the KB above
- Done!

2004:

- download and install KB4567523
(no need to uninstall the problematic KB4557957); this KB fix won't be pushed to Windows Update until July
- Done!
