Not quite the color advertised but still pretty cool.
Replacing a 980ti in my main rig.
Probably keep the 980ti for now...'cause GPU army +1.

Nice, takes a whole week ground shipping to my house.
My GTX1080FTW will be here tomorrow that I bought last Wednesday.
Maybe the Sprint will be another GPU event, put these cards right to use.

In the shop the red look more "metallic" and darker, this red is a little too bright. I hope you'll enjoy the new "toy"

By the way I changed the title of this thread yesterday in order to deal with a complaint. Hopefully now there will be no more complaints.

It is too bad what is different about the card will be face down so you can't really see it so well.
Did they do anything special to the back side of the card?

Complaint? There's no complaining in crunching. Can we find out who complained or if they are a member of the crunching team?

The top has the standard backplate.
The shroud color is the only difference.
I've been going back and forth on this, from "not what was advertised", then "maybe it's OK, not that big of a deal".
 
After sleeping on it, I am upset.  Paid extra and waited a month for something that looks like an eyesore in my rig.  
I spent hours sleeving every cable on this PC, so in this case it does matter.  The dark red would have looked so much better.

The original picture looks like a maroon or burgundy than true red like the product delivered.
How much extra $ was it over a regular card?
