I don't know about you but I like the fan noice.
It helps with the ringing in my ears from years of abuse.
Loud music, bazillion rounds of ammo and on the job noise.

Yes sir, we have been in an lousy weather pattern.
Rain again this week too.

You got that right. You and I are both old enough to remember the really lean years, mid 60's to the early Steinbrenner era. I used to go to those twinight double headers on Fridays back when I was a teenager. Got some great memories of Murcer being the star on some crappy teams. Now, these young bucks remind me of the mid nineties. How about a Yankees/Cubs WS after they knock out the Redsox in the playoffs?
