would be a good tool if it would work. i just went through multiple configs and out of 3 attempts it gave pnly 1 recommendation which was the 1300w for 329.99. how on earth could a single gtx560Ti, and a core i7 980x (stock) with 4 spinning hard drives need a 1300w PSU ( another evga fail that is how).
talk about yet another EVGA FAIL, would be nice if evga hadnt lost pride in what they do but these days i find cs lacking, products lacking, and stuff like this "power meter" thing are a joke i mean really 1300 watt PSU needed for a single 560ti, a stock clocked 980x and 4 HDD's you have got to be kidding me especially with a 329.99 price tag.
personally my current PSU is more than 1300w but it is way overkill for my rig even when i was tri-slied ( no longer tri-slied due to evga manipulating my product page and failing customer service and becuase of not being to rma (sarcasm: thanks evga) im on sigle gpu till i can find a new gpu from a DIFFERENT manufacture at a realistic price sorry evga but you failed me and without lifetime warranty i have no reason to remain brand loyal to you).
with that said instead of wasting 329.99 on an evga 1300w ( for a single gpu stock clocked rig with 4 hard drive (could even go 6 HDD on less wattage) power supply i recommend instead the Lepa G1600, 1600 watt fully modular gold certified and made by enermax for only 349.99. My Lepa G1600 has been running since 6/15/2012 and has had 0 issues
