Hi Matt,  I have an evga X58 classified motherboard, model 141-BL-760-A1 with an evga gtx680 graphics card.   Is there a way to upgrade the bios, current version 83 installed, to UEFI?

Do this:

Register the card here then e-mail me at mattm@evga.com with the serial number and I can e-mail you the firmware.

Please note that once flashed it will not work with non-UEFI motherboards and is only required for Secure Boot with Windows 8.

Or call EVGA on the phone.

Version 83 is UEFI compatible. If you're looking for an update to a GUI BIOS, that's not available for that board.

Hi Matt, I just emailed you with my two serial numbers for the 680 cards I have.
I was wondering about the UEFI and as I know my MB has it, will updating the
firmware in my two cards actually make them work any better ?

 They seem to be working fine now, but as MB Bios upgrades improve performance 
in a pc, Im thinking the UEFI will allow my two 4 gig cards to run more smoothly ?

I have responded to the e-mail with the UEFI firmware for the cards and it will only add the Secure Boot function to the cards and allow them to be run as UEFI instead of Legacy in the motherboard's BIOS.

hey! you found the forum and this old thread that you need, but you didnt read the second post, it has instructions.
 

i have an evga x570 ftw motherboard with an evga3080 ftw ultra i cant sync the motherboard led to the card..  i have both programs  running precision x1 an eleet x1   it just wont ...  i can control them in  diffident programs but not sync????? any help ... ps u guys sould just make one to do everything ..fyi
