Do ya got a circular saw and power drill?

I'm a carpenter so I have pretty much everything, but all I probably used was a circular saw and drill. I had a few scraps of 3/4" oak and birch plywood, and a couple of 1"x2"'s used here and there.

I was planing on making a topic about Desk+Monitor vs PC to TV.

Recently I was planing on selling my monitor and just use my 46 inch tv as my pc displaying device to save room in my basement.

So far I've only played 3rd person games and co-op/multiplayer stuff. Today I went to play BF3 story for the first time, and I was bored. I didn't feel like I was immersed. The best answer I could come up with is a desk+monitor is more immersive do to being close and my face being a foot or so away, being in the cockpit so to speak. Or is it the first hour of BF3 is boring? Even if its boring I should still be able to be immersed. Dice knows how to build worlds.

Have you guys experienced the difference between TV vs desk/monitor? Or am I just crazy?

Well if you sit three feet in front of your 46" tv, that should be immersive.

LOL, I think that will eventually happen to everyone's chair.  It happened to my chair I had since college about a year ago.
