Anyone think there would be a local market for custom desks/entertainment centers/Tables? Say no more than a 6-10 hour or days drive for delivery?

It all depends on the local market...how rich is it? I've sort of been doing that, off and on, for most of my adult working life as a carpenter. I have a traveling woodshop and set it up on site for different types of projects, but if I had a real woodshop I could have picked up a lot more custom work. Word of mouth works better for me than advertising. When I advertised I ended up wasting a lot of time and money doing estimates. I don't even do estimates anymore, just time and materials, and my hourly rate is somewhat below market value.

Ive got 7 or more projects for the apartment, but waiting on cash to do em. Take some pics and show em off em' person to start. And looking into doing some projects for locals at cost.

The RGB LED's give a really nice effect during gaming and movies though, just wish I could set them up for ambx.

Holo, have you tried that keyboard tray,and if top of the desk position is as comfortable? Im looking at doing two keyboards, mice and a Wacom for a 2 system desk.
