Emergency purchase Friday, but hot water heater. It rearranged my weekend plans, but all installed and no more leaks.

Ouch, yes that can be expensive. We had to replace ours a while back and switched to tankless gas water heating. Loving the tankless - dropped our power bill significantly, and being able to have a shower and never run out of hot water is awesome. We got a relatively powerful high capacity one, so there's no problem with 2 showers and say the dishwasher all running at the same time. Didn't come cheap though.
