Just a PSA here that is important.
If you are upgrading from a 1000w 850 or smaller PSU and you're going to put even more of a load on this PSU
Make sure you use the cord that comes with the 1600w. Even if not increasing, please use the new cord.
Loading up a PSU with a lighter cord like a 18awg or 16awg will make it get hot, very hot
Hot enough to cause the PSU to shut off or worse melt down the cord or socket/wires, start fire.
A few years a go, and I know better, went from 650w to 1000w added GPUs running 3 980Ti didn't change it out.
Well it melted the cord and the socket of the power strip. Good thing I smelled it before it caught on fire.
Now all my cords are #12awg I bought HP server cords off ebay. The lighter cords are in the garbage.
