Does anybody here got an SR2 on sale? Or knows a board that supports two 1366 xeons and supports sli/x-fire?
I've got a 2nd HD5970 on the cheap and would consider pairing them up in a classic build but not at those ridiculous ebay prices..
sooo...anyone got tips?
 
PS: my last SR2 was a no-go since it pretty much died because of nf-chips giving me a headache..

    Got one with 2 6 cores... i had 96 gigs of ecc ram but it would only boot up when I cleared the cmos (unsupported) but it did work for my vmware environment. Currently i migrated those ram chips to a 2011 server and got another set of 48gb ecc ram. This boots right up correctly everytime.

    Unfortunately if I part with this, it will only be by test and pickup as a whole unit (no hdd).
    It's in a blackhawk ultra.
